About the project

TopCar is a comprehensive B2B2C platform designed for the automotive market. The project involved creating a cohesive ecosystem: a modern listing website for individual customers and a powerful management panel (CMS) for dealers. My goal was to design a seamless data flow from the moment a vehicle is entered into the system, through automated listing publication, to the final presentation of the car to the end customer.

Search & Filtering Logic

Problem: Browsing a large vehicle database without precise selection tools is cumbersome for users. The lack of a clear breakdown of technical parameters makes the search process chaotic and inefficient.

Solution: Designed a side filter panel with a clear structure. I implemented logical selection groups along with intuitive sliders and multi select fields. This allows users to precisely personalize search results while maintaining full control over the displayed offers.

Form Optimization

Problem: Complex registration forms with many required fields (especially in B2B) often discourage users, leading to high abandonment rates.

Solution: Designed a two column form structure, grouping data into logical sections. I focused on optimizing the user flow by ensuring an intuitive field sequence, which make keyboard navigation easier and builds user confidence during data entry.

Inventory Data Architecture

Problem: Managing cars means entering hundreds of details every day. If the system is cluttered, the work becomes tiring, leading to mistakes in listings and frustrated employees.

Solution: I designed the vehicle card to be as simple and comfortable as possible. By organizing data into logical blocks and adding more white space, the system is no longer overwhelming. Employees find what they need faster, feel less tired, and can focus on sales instead of struggling with an awkward tool.

Multi-channel Sales Hub

Problem: Manually listing the same car on multiple auction platforms (Allegro, Otomoto, Olx) frustrated users and led to inconsistencies in offers.

Solution: Designed an integrated listing hub. Users enter data only once in the CMS and then, with a single click, select packages and promotional options for various platforms simultaneously. This mechanism drastically reduces listing time and ensures full data consistency across all sales channels.

Summary / Result

The TopCar project proves that complex data management systems can be simple and aesthetic. By combining advanced analytics within the CMS with a clean sales interface, I created a tool that effectively supports dealership businesses while providing customers with a best buying experience. The system successfully simplified the multi channel sales process, reducing human error and increasing listing conversion.
